The Thermodynamic LMTB 3 works on the Thermodynamic principle and is based around the use of an Evaporator Thermodynamic Solar Panel and a Thermodynamic Block known as the LMTB 3 Thermodynamic Box. The LMTB 3 is designed to facilitate customers who have a high quality non-Thermodynamic Hot Water cylinder installed in their premises and wish to avoid the expense of replacing their current hot water cylinder. The LMTB 3 consists of the main components of the system and it is here that the heat is generated and transferred to the water within the cylinder through a heat exchanger that is situated inside the LMTB 3.

How It Works

A Thermodynamic Solar Panel, which can be situated on a roof or wall facing in a Southerly, Easterly or Westerly orientation is a powder coated aluminium panel that is specially designed to allow the refrigeration gas to come in contact with the ambient air temperature so that it can evaporate and enter the compressor in the LMTB 3 box as a vapour/gas.

The LMTB 3 is situated beside the cylinder and consists of the main components of the system and it is here that the heat is generated and transferred to the water within the cylinder. Once the gas is compressed and the temperature is raised, the gas is passed through a heat exchanger which transfers the heat to water which is circulated through the heat exchanger by a circulating pump. The water which has been heated by the Refrigeration gas in the heat exchanger is circulated through the coil in the cylinder, heating the water in the cylinder to 55°C.

The LMTB 3 can be fitted to existing copper, enamelled or stainless steel cylinders and allows the customer to save money on the purchase of a new cylinder. The LMTB 3 will heat your hot water 365 days of the year, day or night.
